  17. Make ready 1/2 cup water
Instructions to make Deep-fried Tofu simmered with sweet soy sauce and plant-based ground meat:
  1. Mix all of the simmering sauce ingredients and set aside. * I used this paste for broth paste.
  2. Set your wok or large deep pan to medium heat, and add 2 tablespoon of sesame oil. After 15 seconds add minced ginger and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  3. Add deep-fried Tofu and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add frozen edamame, plant-based ground meat. Stir-fry for another minute.
  4. Stir up the prepared sauce mixture and pour it into the wok or pan mixing everything together until combined. Make it boiling.
  5. Once boiling, decrease the heat to low and keep shimmering for 10 minutes.
  6. Add 2 tablespoon of corn starch into 1/2 cup water and mix well. Turn off the heat and pour the mixture into wok or pan to thicken the sauce. Stir constantly.
  7. Turn the heat to medium and keep stirring till your favorite thickness. Add salt and pepper if you need. Done! Serve with brown rice or white rice.
  8. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
