The ingredients needed to make Spicy keto tofu:
  1. Make ready 1 Package Tofu
  2. Get 30 ml soy sauce
  3. Take 1.30 ml garlic powder
  4. Prepare 1.30 ml Onion powder
  5. Take 1.30 ml Chili Flakes
  6. Take 1.30 ml Paprika
  7. Take 1.30 ml black pepper
  8. Take 1.30 ml Pink Himalayan Salt
  9. Prepare 15 ml Sesame Seeds 3/4 for cooking, 1/4 for topping
  10. Prepare 30 ml Green Chili Sauce
  11. Take 15 ml coconut oil
  12. Take 5 ml Sesame Oil

This Keto spicy garlic tofu recipe is crispy, sweet, aromatic, and umami. It is a quick and easy meal, perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep. What to serve with this low-carb spicy tofu? Keto Firecracker Tofu: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft inside, drenched in sweet & spicy firecracker sauce!

Instructions to make Spicy keto tofu:
  1. Press the tofu. Wrap tofu in paper towel and place on a flat plate. Place a pan/skillet on top of the wrapped tofu in order to apply pressure and force out the moisture.
  2. Dice the tofu into 1 inch cubes
  3. Melt 1 tbsp of coconut oil in a skillet over high heat. When the oil is up to temperature add the tofu cubes. Allow the tofu to cook on each side for 2 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Add all of the spices, along with 3/4 of the sesame seeds.(save 1/4 for plating)
  5. Add 2 tbsp of water along with the soy sauce. (If you add the soy sauce on it's own it may burn in the hot pan)
  6. Allow the spice blend and soy sauce to reduce all the way down until no liquid remains. You should be left with tofu that are coated with the spice blend.
  7. Optional: 30 seconds before removing from the stove add in your favorite hot sauce. We use Green Dragon Chili Sauce from trader joes. Any sauce will do though. Some other options are Chili Garlic Paste, or traditional Tabasco sauce.
  8. Serve over steamed broccoli. Top with the remaining sesame seeds and additional chopped almonds if desired. Drizzle with 1 tsp of Sesame Oil. Enjoy!
