Agedashi Tofu (Fried Tofu) is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. They are fine and they look fantastic. Agedashi Tofu (Fried Tofu) is something that I’ve loved my entire life.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have agedashi tofu (fried tofu) using 3 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Agedashi Tofu (Fried Tofu):
  1. Get 250 grams Tofu
  2. Prepare 1 Katakuriko
  3. Take 1 Mentsuyu (2x concentrate)
Steps to make Agedashi Tofu (Fried Tofu):
  1. Cut the tofu into 4-5 cm chunks and drain the water.
  2. Place the katakuriko and the tofu block from Step 1 into a plastic bag and shake to coat.
  3. Heat a good amount of oil in a frying pan and fry all sides of the tofu from Step 2.
  4. Once all the sides are fried and crispy, set on a paper towel to drain.
  5. Once drained, transfer to plates, pour on some mentsuyu, and enjoy. Season them as you'd like.
  6. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
