Kimchi Mandu is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It is enjoyed by millions every day. Kimchi Mandu is something that I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look fantastic.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook kimchi mandu using 14 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Kimchi Mandu:
  1. Prepare 25 dumpling wrappers large
  2. Get Some water in a small boal (to help with sealing girl wrapper)
  3. Prepare 1 1/2 cups Kimchi (abt. 2 weeks + old), finely chopped
  4. Take 250 g tofu (firm),minced
  5. Prepare 200 g mung bean sprouts, parboiled and finely chopped
  6. Make ready 130 g minced pork (of beef)
  7. Get 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  8. Get 10 g garlic chives, finely chopped
  9. Get 1 egg
  10. Take 1 tsp fine sea salt
  11. Prepare 1 tsp sesame oil
  12. Take 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  13. Make ready A few sprinkles of ground black pepper
  14. Prepare 1/4 cup water to use in pan (you'll need more each batch)
Steps to make Kimchi Mandu:
  1. Combine and mix the filling ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Place a dumpling wrapper on your palm and add the filling in the centre of the wrapper. Dip your finger in the water and wet one edge of the dumpling wrapper. Seal the wrapper then place it on a non - stick flat surface.
  3. Repeat step 2 until you use all of the remaining ingredient.
  4. Cook Mandu by your preference.
  5. Pan fried mandu: In a well heated pan add some cooking oil. Place some mandu and cook over medium heat until the bottom of the mandu is golden brown (2 to 3 mins). Reduce the heat to medium to medium low. Add the water and put the lid on to cook with the steam. This will ensure the meat is thoroughly cooked without burning. Your mandu will be ready to eat then most of the watet disappeard in the pan (in about 5 mins).
  6. Steamed mandu: Place some non stick materials on Steamer (e.g. cabbage leafs or baking paper) and place the mandu in it. Make sure the mandu are not touching each other. Put the lid on. Place the steamer over boiling water (in a sauce pan) and cook the mandu for fifteen to twenty minutes on medium low heat.
  7. Serve the mandu on a plate while still hot and with korean dumpling sauce.
  8. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
