  1. Get 100 gm minced pork
  2. Prepare 6-7 medium size prawns
  3. Get 1 block silken tofu
  4. Prepare Broccoli florets
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  6. Make ready 1 tsp light soya sauce
  7. Get 1 tsp sesame oil
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp coconut oil
  10. Make ready 100 ml water

  13. Get Spring Onions

Claypot Tofu is one of my all-time favourite dishes to order at any tze char stall in Singapore because of its savoury Claypot Tofu Recipe. Sapo tahu is a Chinese Indonesian tofu dish traditionally cooked and served in claypot. Sapo tahu may be served as a vegetarian dish, or with chicken, seafood (especially shrimp), minced beef or pork. It is a popular tofu dish in Indonesia.

Instructions to make Claypot tofu:
  1. Marinate 100gm minced pork with light soya sauce, sesame oil and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Clean and de-vein prawns, marinate with salt and pepper. Set aside. In a bowl mix oyster sauce, light soy sauce and 100ml water. Set aside
  3. Add 2 tbsp coconut oil in claypot to coat the whole clay pot base.
  4. Fry minced garlic and white part spring onion in medium/ low heat until fragrant.
  5. Gently add 1 block silken tofu into the claypot. Place the marinated minced pork on top of tofu. Pour in mixed sauce. Cover claypot and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  6. Open the lid after 10 minutes add prawns, broccoli florets and Shaoxing wine. Cook for another 5 minutes. Lastly add cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
  7. Garnish with sliced chilli and spring onion.
  8. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
