To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have crispy tofu using 7 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Crispy Tofu:
  1. Take 1 tofu block, cubed
  2. Take 3-4 tbsp cornstarch
  3. Take 1 tbsp chili salt
  4. Get 4 garlic cloves, minced
  5. Prepare Dash pepper
  6. Get Oil
  7. Prepare chilies (optional)
Instructions to make Crispy Tofu:
  1. Press tofu to remove water. Pan sear tofu until crisp and golden brown. Let cool and cut into cubes.
  2. In a bowl mix cornstarch, pepper, and chili salt. Coat tofu cubes in cornstarch mixture thoroughly.
  3. On high heat add oil, salt, chilies, and garlic.
  4. Add tofu into pan and grill until sides are evenly crisp.
  5. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
